The Heat

I've been meaning to write about several perfumes I tried and really liked recently but it will have to wait another day or two for the heat wave we've been having to pass.
I just can't function when it's hot, not only because my body doesn't deal well with it, it makes me feel terribly upset as I can't ease my suffering. The best I can do is be still and let the fan do its thing (luckily we have A/C at work but unfortunately not at home).
In case you're wondering about the temperatures, for the fourth day in the row we're hitting 38 degrees Celsius (we got to 39 yesterday).

I just need to be still a little longer and I'll be fine by tomorrow.

P.S. If you're wondering why am I using a computer when it's so hot, I'm not, I'm testing blogger for Android phones. :-)

    1. Thanks Tatiana - your wishes have been heard. We were finally treated to some rain and wind and generally cooler weather yesterday. :)
And hydration is the thing on the top of my mind on these hot days - I also warn everybody around me to pay attention to how much they drink.

  2. Wow... I hope it cools down soon. I would be suffering terribly: I hate any temperature extremes.

    1. Undina, I can deal with cold but I hate extreme heat. There is just no way of dealing with it without being sequestered in an A/C environment and I'm not a fan of that.
Luckily, it lessened a bit now and we aren't supposed to have another heat wave like that one (only temperatures to 30-31 degrees).

  3. I bet you wish you could still dive in the sea, judging from the lovely holiday pics you posted a few days ago! Hope it passes soon - before you know it, you'll be shivering under a blanket of snow ;-)

    1. Oh Michael, you bet I do! :) I long for it with all my heart.
And the ironic thing is, it doesn't get so extremely hot at the seaside, I think the sea manages to keep the temperatures to a more survivable level (35-36).

  4. I understand completely how you feel in a heat wave.
I hope you're feeling better now and can't wait to read your new posts!
