Now I know the name and look of another plant. :)Ineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12119611878721554991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8638187488800760223.post-13155221382284096162009-05-05T17:50:00.000+02:002009-05-05T17:50:00.000+02:00If it is indeed Pittosporum (Which I think it is) ...If it is indeed Pittosporum (Which I think it is) then the starry little flowers are not part of the same plant. Used money has a specific scent - this is actually a quite ingenious idea keeping a leaf in the wallet. :)
Yes, the first plant comes with flowers, and now my ignorance comes to the fore - I'm not sure whether the little starry yellow flowers growing in the same pot as the plant belong to that plant or are something completely different?Ineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12119611878721554991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8638187488800760223.post-7330583246110938882009-05-05T14:36:00.000+02:002009-05-05T14:36:00.000+02:00hrrrmmmm... The now discontinued By by Dolce Gabbana (for her) has a distinct floral pittosporum note.

Re: the Laurel... I LOVE LOVE LOVE laurel. What a marvelous scent the leaves have, especially when scratched. In Greece we put a couple of laurel leaves in certain soups and stews. My grandfather always kept a few laurel leaves in his wallet so that his money was always fragrant. Which sounds hillarious now that I see it written, but there you go. Highly used money has a rather unpleasant scent, so it kind of makes sense. Although ever since the introduction of the Euro I haven't encountered the scent again. Maybe because it is still so new?Divinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14846908655432168778noreply@blogger.com
